Regarding horsepower, Novarossi prefers to provide RPM ratings rather than horsepower numbers. We believe that these ratings provide a better comparison between engines made by different manufacturers. Novarossi tests engines with dynometers under controlled conditions. Unfortunately not every manufacturer uses the same tests and horsepower numbers as presented by various brands of engines do not provide a reliable method of comparison.
Novarossi engines represent the finest craftsmanship and essential things like hard chromed liners and patented ball bearings along with unequaled piston and liner design and manufacturing have to be experienced and not easily translated to marketing collateral.
