The R46F "Pylon" engine with a 10mm RC carburetor is designed for both sport flying and all out racing where very high performance is desired. Develops great power and handles well throughout the throttle range. Requires a tuned pipe for maximum output. This engine has a number of pipe and manifold configurations designed for your plane and application.
Chose from headers:
40401 with a 1" rise for pipe clearance
40402 with 3" clearance
40403 with 2" clearance
The following headers are manufactured specifically for the R46F.
40904 Polished Straight with aprox. 30 degree angle for R46F
40905 Polished Straight pipe no angle for R46F
40903 Polished 90 degree bend for R46F
Choose for Tuned Pipes:
46A/50904 tuned pipe with attached straight header that attaches directly to the engine.
50901 Tuned Pipe 29cm - 11 3/8" length - requires header
50903 Tuned Pipe 26cm - 10 3/8" length - requires header
Use only high speed rated props with this engine, i.e. APC Pylon .40 Props with D-1 Hubs or Carbon Fiber or Wood props rated for high RPM's.
